Education/Background:I graduated with a Bachelor of Social Work from James Madison University in 2008 and a Masters of Social Work from University of Maryland, Baltimore in 2010 and have been a Board Certified Clinical Supervisor since 2015. I have over 15 years experience providing therapy in a variety of treatment settings to adolescents through adulthood in all different stages of life. I work with clients who are experiencing depression, anxiety, marital and/or family conflict, low self esteem, difficulty navigating a current or recent change in life circumstances, adjustment to parenthood and/or experiencing increased stress managing day to day life.
Therapy Approach:I provide a safe and non judgmental environment where teens and adults can process their stories, gain insight and work through past and current challenges. I am direct and honest in my approach while also providing a supportive and welcoming space to explore challenges, increase self compassion and enhance personal growth. I strongly believe that therapy is an individualized experience and encourage you to show up as your authentic self while we navigate the therapeutic process together!
